UBC Health integrates collaborative interprofessional health education (IPE) to shape the workforce of tomorrow.
We work with our partners to advance collaborative education through new approaches that enrich our health programs and extend into practice. We support the establishment and pursuit of common goals while respecting the autonomy of the distinct health disciplines. We focus on areas that are crucial to practitioner and system development—such as classroom- and practice-based curricula—models that build placement capacity across British Columbia, and learner-informed models for team-based education.
