An interdisciplinary collaboration exploring how AI can be ethically, meaningfully, and effectively embedded in team-based primary care — grounded in the Gateway Team Based Care Teaching Clinic at UBC.

Jump To:

This project explores how AI can be embedded in team workflows without compromising human roles, care values, or ethical standards.

Project Team

A purposefully interdisciplinary team — faculty leads from Family Practice, Computer Science, and Linguistics; Nursing; clinician perspectives; UBC Health leadership; and doctoral students drawn from complementary programs.

Grounded In

The Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching Clinic

A newly established teaching clinic on UBC's Point Grey campus. It provides the real-world care and education setting where simulations, pilots, and co-design will take place.
