UBC Health Welcomes Dr. Sharmila Anandasabapathy as Incoming Vice-President, Health and Dean, Faculty of Medicine
UBC Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Sharmila Anandasabapathy as the incoming Vice-President, Health and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. She will officially begin her term in November, 2025. A globally recognized clinician-scientist, Dr. Anandasabapathy brings extensive expertise in cancer detection, biomedical innovation, and global health. Her interdisciplinary approach and commitment to health equity align closely with UBC Health’s mission to foster collaboration across education, research, and health systems.
