Bridging silos and building impact in BC’s health system
More than 130 people from diverse perspectives across British Columbia...
UBC Health is pleased to share three theme-oriented reports from the Breathe and Weave: Talking Across Silos to Enable Health System Improvement health summit, an intersectoral dialogue about health and healthcare in British Columbia held earlier this year.
The summit brought together people from diverse roles, sectors, and regions across the province to discuss shared priorities for improving BC’s health system and how working together could be better enabled across the system.
In a post-summit questionnaire, participants identified topics of interest. The most requested topics are reflected in theme-based reports, which document statements shared by summit participants related to: silos and collaboration; equity; and innovation, risk, and scaling up. These theme reports provide valuable insights and serve as a reference for further exploration of the ideas discussed during the summit.
