Every year through its awards and scholarships, UBC Health recognizes the academic and research excellence of students and faculty from various health disciplines at UBC as well as the achievements of health educators, professionals, and community partners across BC.

One of those awards is the John McNeill Excellence in Health Research Mentorship Award, which is now open for nominations.

This award recognizes outstanding mentorship by UBC faculty members who exemplify a deep commitment to fostering the professional and personal development of faculty colleagues, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows in the early stages of their academic careers. This prestigious award was established by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in honour of Dean Emeritus John McNeill, whose leadership paved the way for research excellence in the faculty.

The deadline for nominations is December 15, 2021.
