UBC faculty are invited to promote interprofessional activities through the Interprofessional Health Education Hub, a portal on Canvas that lists optional interprofessional opportunities for students.

Supported by UBC Health, the Hub promotes activities and helps build capacity for learning that prepares students for interprofessional practice. The activities listed on the site enable students to develop collaborative skills, knowledge, and perspectives as well as gain insight into patient and community perspectives. 

Some examples of information and activities included on the site are: 

• Health Mentors Program 
• Patient & Community Voices Workshops 
• Interprofessional leadership opportunities 
• Health Student Caucus involvement information
• Interprofessional student awards and scholarships
• Interprofessional health conferences

UBC faculty may submit proposals for optional interprofessional activities that occur during the Winter Term 2 period (January to April). The deadline to submit proposals is December 1, 2022.
