The call for abstracts and registration for Aging Better Together: Collaborating to Improve Outcomes Across British Columbia on November 19-20, 2023 is now open.

This inaugural symposium is hosted by the Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Aging, in partnership with the Aging in Place Research Cluster at UBC Okanagan, UBC Health, and the Centre for Technology Adoption for Aging in the North.  

The two-day symposium will bring together researchers, trainees, and partners across disciplines to provide a holistic and comprehensive perspective on aging. The interdisciplinary focus will enable reflection, discussion, and community engagement on the biological, social, cultural, and environmental determinants of healthy aging and strategies for prevention and early intervention to increase health span and add quality years to life.

The symposium will be held in person on the UBC Vancouver campus. Abstract submission deadline is October 2, 2023, and registration deadline is October 19, 2023. For more information, visit the symposium website.
