UBC Health Learning Modules FAQ
Enrollment to the eLearning course modules is currently restricted to UBC Health students only. Thank you for your interest in our eLearning modules.
You should have received an email with an enrollment key that prompted you to register for the elearning courses. Please check that email. If the problem still persists, please contact your program coordinator for your enrolment key.
The enrollment key is case-sensitive. Please make sure you are also typing it in correctly by checking the ‘unmask’ box. Another way to enter it is to copy and paste the key directly into the text field. If the problem still persists, please contact your program coordinator for help.
There is no certificate of completion for certain modules. If there is a certificate of completion, it will display the requirements in order to recieve one.
You will need to achieve a required score in that module. This means you must fulfill three requirements:
- Thoroughly complete the module and the reflection/question prompts (if any);
- Take the time to watch/learn the specific module goals and outcomes; and
- If applicable, be able to meet the requirements listed in the required checklist after completing the module.
In order to be able to login to access the learning modules, you will need to:
- Create an account with a working email address; and
- Check your email to confirm the new account.
When you create an account, please make a note of your username and password. If you have mistakenly entered your email address wrong when creating an account, please email us at ltsupport@health.ubc.ca and we will manually correct it for you.
Please check to make sure that pop-ups are enabled on your browser so that the module can be displayed correctly.
If you are using an ad-block extension or script on your browser, please also check that it is disabled for this site. The ad-blocker may be interfering with the module loading.
Also, please note that iPads and Android Tablets are currently not supported. If you are using an iPad or Android Tablet, please switch to a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices are also not recommended.
Please make sure your volume is on and not muted. This can be done by checking:
- If the volume in the lower left corner is on;
- If your computer volume is on; and
- If the browser tab is unmuted.
If the problem still persists, please contact UBC IT for help.
Our modules require flash in order to run. Please ensure you have the latest version of Flash installed on your computer.

There are two possible reasons why you cannot proceed:
- You have not viewed each an every slide of the module. If you have skipped slides, or dragged the seek-bar to go through the module more quickly, you will NOT receive a completion indication that will allow you to proceed to the next module.
- At the moment, module completion can only be tracked using a laptop or desktop browser. If you viewed the module on a mobile device, such as your phone, iPad, Android Tablet or other mobile devices, you will not receive a completion indication that will allow you to proceed to the next module.
