UBC Health Clinic David Strangway Building
AMS Student Insurance (Extended Health & Dental)
UBC Dentistry Dental Clinic The dental clinic at UBC operates at reduced fees. Our fees are approximately 20 to 40 percent less than those in the BC Dental Association Fee Guide. It is important to note that there are UBC fee guides for both the undergraduate program (dental and dental hygiene students and graduate programs (specialty training). Depending on whether a student dentist/dental hygienist or a graduate student performs the treatment, the appropriate fees guide will apply.
Patients with dental insurance are responsible for paying their accounts to the clinic directly and later will be reimbursed by their dental plan, except for those patients with Blue Cross Insurance coverage. Patients who qualify for government assistance should obtain the necessary authorization of eligibility before treatment begins. The clinic will collect from the government agency directly.
